1. Who we are and what this covers

These terms govern the purchase and use of the digital guide "Don't Become a Pilot Before You Read This" (the "Guide"), sold by Your Aviation Wingman (FZE), an aviation education and coaching company registered in the United Arab Emirates. By buying the Guide you agree to these terms, our Privacy policy and our Refund policy. If you do not agree, do not buy it.

2. What you are buying

A single digital file (PDF) delivered instantly after payment, plus any updated editions we choose to release for it. You receive a personal, non transferable, non exclusive licence to read the Guide on your own devices. You do not receive the copyright, and you may not resell, share, post, forward, upload or otherwise distribute the file or its contents, in whole or in part. Doing so ends your licence and may lead to legal action under UAE law.

3. Nature of the content

The Guide is education and personal opinion from a working airline captain. It is not professional financial, legal, medical or career advice, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or speaking for any airline, flight school, authority or employer. Aviation rules, costs, medical standards and hiring requirements change by country and by year. Any figures in the Guide are rough ranges given for orientation only. Confirm everything with your own aviation authority, aeromedical examiner, school and prospective employer before spending money or signing anything.

4. No guarantees

We do not guarantee any outcome: not a licence, not a medical certificate, not a job, not a particular salary, not an interview result, and not that reading the Guide will make you want to become a pilot or stop wanting to. Your decisions and their consequences are your own.

5. Payment and delivery

The price is shown on the sales page at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. After payment you are shown a download page and sent an email containing a download link that remains valid for 30 days. Save the file. If the link expires or fails, email us and we will send a new one. Delivery is complete when the download link is made available to you, whether or not you download the file at that moment.

6. Refunds

Because the Guide is delivered instantly, purchases are final. See the Refund policy for the exact terms and the technical exceptions we do honour.

7. Age

You must be 18 or older to buy the Guide. If you are younger, a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase and accepts these terms on your behalf.

8. Intellectual property

All text, structure, charts, images and design of the Guide and of this website belong to Your Aviation Wingman (FZE) and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing here transfers any of those rights to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Your Aviation Wingman (FZE), its owner, staff and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss arising from your purchase or from decisions you take after reading the Guide, including training costs, loans, career or employment outcomes, exam results or medical outcomes. Our total liability for any claim connected with the Guide is limited to the amount you paid for it.

10. Indemnity

You agree to hold Your Aviation Wingman (FZE) harmless from any claim or cost arising from your breach of these terms, including unauthorised distribution of the Guide.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Guide or this site after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The Guide is sold worldwide, and by buying it from outside the UAE you accept that UAE law applies to the purchase.

13. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
